Toddler Room

CCSLV's Toddler Program serves children aged 12-30 months. With a four-to-one maximum ratio of children to teachers, all enrollees are guaranteed plenty of close personal attention and supervision.

Our teaching philosophy emphasizes letting the children discover and pursue their own interests. Within the context of a structured daily schedule, children are exposed to a wide variety of art materials, toys, and books designed to stimulate intellectual and creative development.

Lunch time in the Toddler Room

Teachers generally intervene in the children's activities only to ensure safety; to provide help when requested; to comfort and console when necessary; and to facilitate cooperation, or mediate conflicts, among children just beginning to discover to possibilities and limitations of social group interaction.

CCSLV is the only childcare center in the San Lorenzo Valley that offers hot breakfast and lunch. We also offer an afternoon snack.  All meals are served family-style.

Naeyc means..

NAEYC accredited programs invest in early childhood education because they believe in the benefits to children and families.

Early childhood experiences—from birth to age 8—have an enormous impact on children’s lifelong learning and positively contribute to their health and development. Early childhood education programs with the mark of quality benefit children with greater readiness for and success in school.
